A woman was watching a man fish. She noticed that he was catching a lot of fish but he kept the small ones and threw the large ones back into the water. She could not stand it any longer. She asked him, “How come you are throwing all the big ones back?”
The man answered, “I only got a small pan, so only small fish fit it!”

How silly!!
Are you also holding up small frying pans?
Every time we throw away a big dream, a mega idea or an exciting possibility, are we measuring it against a ‘tiny pan’?

Are you setting your sights too low?

Consider a mango tree. If you plant it in a pot, its growth will be limited. Once its root fill the pot, it can grow no further. The problem is not with the tree, it is with the pot. It is stifling growth. Perhaps you have bigger things in your heart than your mind can fathom.

When our minds are small, when our imagination cannot see success, then we start throwing away opportunities.
For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7
Change the size of your pot, think big and see the difference.

“You are not what you think you are. But what you think, you are!” – Brian Tracy.
Think big. Dream big. Look for big results. It all begins with changing the size of your thinking.

I am sure you would have heard, “Sky is the limit.” But did you hear this one? “Sky is not the limit. Your mind is.” Marilyn Monroe

God has great plans for you. He says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

He has plans for each of us that exceed what we are experiencing. We were made for greatness. Are you limiting God?

Psalm 78:41-42
Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
They did not remember His power:
The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,

Can you imagine the immense possibilities, once you throw away your old frying pan?

You have no idea what He can do if you take the limits off God and believe Him for big things.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” Ephesians 3:20
