I rejoice at Your word
As one who finds great treasure. (Ps 119:162 NKJV)

A rich farmer had three lazy sons. On his deathbed, he shared a secret with them and died. “There is a fortune hidden under my field.” The sons were ecstatic. They immediately took to plough the field. Day and night they toiled, dug up the whole field but found nothing. Then the youngest one suggested, since the field is all dug up, why not plant some seeds. Rain came, seeds germinated and within few months they had a great harvest.

Then they realized the treasure left by their father.

David understood this secret. He rejoices in the promises for in them he found great treasure.

Joshua 1:8 talks about meditating on the Word day and night to make your way prosperous and have good success.

There is a great inheritance in His Word. We will find it when we dig into it.

So, let us invite ourselves, over a cup of morning coffee, to go for a treasure hunt in His Word today, everyday.
