This is the first time we decided to do a VBS in Jasaidih with children from the Sunday Schools of Jasaidih and Nuni.
The plan was to have a day of learning bible and about Jesus through fun, games, craft, music, acting and dance for children.
The teachers were Mamata and Raju. Thirty children of age between 8 – 14 years gathered at Jasaidih.
To get them settled, the day started with some high tempo games and action songs followed by prayer and worship.
Some old action songs that the children learnt in their Sunday Schools followed by two new songs that they learnt.
Raju gave teachings on the Fruit of the Spirit.
The children were then divided into two groups to discuss and then enact the fruits for others to recognize. The groups were led by Mamata and Raju to assist them in their play.
Lunch was simple chicken and rice meal.
Overall a great joy spending the day with these lovely children. We ended the day with adoration and blessing them.
They went home very happy, filled with love, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost.
