You can have faith only for what you know.
That means you cannot have faith for what you don’t know.
You cannot have faith on someone or something unless it has been revealed to you.
You may have understanding of something or information about someone. You can gather facts from various sources in your mind. You may believe it also.
But you can know the truth when you receive it from God. You cannot have faith unless it has been revealed to you. Until it is revealed from above, it is not faith. Faith is spiritual. It depends on the revelation you receive in your spirit.
You can know about God from other people, through Bible, listening to messages on the Internet/TV or even in church. You can believe in God. But you cannot know God until He has revealed Himself to you.
Faith is Spiritual. Faith is Now. God is Spirit. God is Living, Now.
Your faith is to be founded on the person of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross.
For your faith to be real and your faith to be Now, you need to have the revelation of Jesus today, everyday.
Yesterday’s revelation is good for yesterday’s faith.
When you stop having revelation, you stop growing. The continual revelation is what keeps your faith active and progressive.
Be hungry for a fresh revelation.
God loves you and wants to reveal Himself to you.
The book of James says that the Spirit yearns jealously! Dictionary says, “yearns is to have an intense feeling of longing for something, typically something that one has lost or been separated from.”
God is yearning. Are you hungry and thirsty for God?
It is in our hands. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”
It all starts with and depends on your choice.
