1 June, 10am to 430pm.

A day of learning through music, games, creativity, dancing, acting.

Thirty two children of age between 8 – 14 years, led by their Deepa didi came to the Sepco Training Centre. And immediately the ambient decibel level went northwards few notches.

The day started with prayer and worship. This was followed by learning the action songs. The children were enthusiastic and picked up the actions quickly. They enjoyed it so much that during our subsequent visit to their locality, we found that they have gone ahead and taught these action songs to every child and toddler in the locality. To the extent that those who can’t speak properly yet were singing “Daud ne ghooma ghooma ke mala”

After a brief Rasna and biscuits break, the session resumed.

The story of David and Goliath and the parable of the Lost Son was shared. The children were divided in two groups and enacted these stories. Their joy and involvement was evident from their creativity and innovation in story telling and acting.

Lunch was simple but filling meal followed by some fun games.

Overall a great joy spending the day with these lovely children. We ended the day with feedback from the children about their experience, a token of our appreciation to them and blessing them.

They went home very happy, filled with hope of the next Bible School soon.

Speiro decided to start a weekly Sunday School for the children in their locality.
